Hope College, located in the center of Holland, Michigan, has contracted Lakewood to update its campus. One of Hope Colleges oldest buildings, Graves Hall, built in 1892, is currently being restored from the inside out.

Educators nationwide have a growing interest in high-performance LEED certified buildings. To serve this important need, two more Lakewood employees recently completed the LEED certification process, furthering our ability to make high-performance green schools a reality in the Midwest.

The Caledonia School District is renovating two elementary schools, Caledonia Elementary and Kettle Lake Elementary, to maintain the schools high level of academic excellence. Lakewood Construction began the bidding process this February, with the projects scheduled to begin in April.

Just over one year ago Zeelands high school swim team moved to their new $14 million facility built by Lakewood Construction, leaving the Cityside Middle School natatorium behind. Now the Cityside Natatorium is receiving a renovation from Lakewood to enhance the facilitys form and function.
