In just ten years, Black River Public Schools, Holland, Michigan, grew from a relatively unknown charter school into a nationally recognized institution, ranking 2nd in the state and 55th in the nation on Newsweek’s Top 100 High Schools. As part of their growth, Black River needed a facility to accommodate their physical education and music programs. Plans call for a new 20,000 square foot multi-purpose facility that will house a gymnasium, cafeteria & kitchen, and separate areas for the orchestra and band. Construction began in mid-July with an expected completion for May 2007.
