| Lakewood Construction Receives Quality Award for Resurrection Life Youth and Family Center Cadillac, Michigan - Lakewood Construction is pleased to announce the receipt of the 2008 Awards of Excellence in Construction for their work on Resurrection Life Church in Cadillac, Mich. This award is given annually by the Builders Exchange of Northwest Michigan to contractors who promote quality workmanship and develop outstanding relationships with owners and architects. The Youth and Family Center opened in October of 2008, in response to their steady growth and desire to reach the community. The state-of-the-art facility was built on a 62-acre site totaling 33,000 sq. ft. and includes a worship center, children’s spaces, student ministry center, offices, Christian bookstore and café. The center offers a safe, welcoming environment for families throughout Northern Michigan, ministering over 1800 people a week. This award joins the more than 28 Awards of Excellence won by Lakewood Construction. The company has a growing portfolio of churches throughout Michigan, and holds Building Your Place of Worship conferences designed to assist church building committee members navigate the many decisions in the design/build process.
