The OMT – Veyhl USA expansion followed several years of record growth, leading to the company’s $5 million investment in its new building and equipment. The phase 1 - 44,000-square-foot plant at 11511 James St. in Holland provides room for new equipment, including a sheet metal laser, press brake and a powder coating line. OMT–Veyhl USA previously was located in a 14,000-square-foot, leased building on 136th Street. The pre-engineered steel facility, which is part of Lakewood’s award-winning East James Business Park, features offices and production areas, complete with overhead bridge crane and a large mezzanine. Explosive growth has since led to OMT's need for more space. August, 2011 was the start of an additional 57,000 square feet addition bringing OMT's total building size in excess of 100,000 square feet.

Video Testimonial
“With Lakewood we got what we wanted on a very aggressive timetable. The teamwork and cooperation among the subs were great. We literally had every parking spot filled with subcontractor trucks. We started on April 4 and we moved in in July, our target date. We had several firms bid on the project, but we chose Lakewood because of the company’s integrity. We felt that if there were issues, and there always are in construction, that Lakewood would stand behind their work. I found that to be true; from the beginning, they wanted to do it right.”
