South Haven Community Hospital Celebrates "Topping Off"
April 30, 2004 marked another special occasion in the history of South Haven Community Hospital.
Officials from Lakewood Inc., Cox-Medendorp-Olson, and South Haven Community Hospital were on hand for the “topping off” of the new Shoreline Women’s Center. The event marked the placement of the last piece of structural steel in the new 10,000 square foot center and commemorates the accident free 259th day on the job.
Other renovation projects were also recently completed by Lakewood Inc. and turned back over to the hospital’s use, including the renovated cafeteria and the new ambulatory care center including oncology, chemotherapy, and antibiotic treatments.
Lakewood Inc. is the Construction Manager for the project, while CMO of Grand Rapids, Michigan is the architect of record.
