Lakewood, Inc Announces Phase Two Completion for Parkside Bible Church
Lakewood Inc. is pleased to announce the completion of Phase Two of the Master Plan for Parkside Bible Church in Holland, Michigan.
Lakewood began working with Parkside (formerly Berean Bible Church) in 1999. Phase One consisted of the addition of a multi-purpose room, nursery relocation and the expansion of the narthex area.
Phase Two of the Master Plan consisted of the expansion of the sanctuary / worship center, the completion of a new kitchen, expansion of the nurseries, and the addition of new administrative offices. The expansion of the sanctuary allowed for a larger stage area to accommodate the growing praise team ministry, better lighting and sound systems, and increased the seating capacity by 25%.
Phase Two began in the spring of 2003 and was completed in January of 2004 while allowing the church to continue with its everyday ministries. Worship services were relocated to the multi-purpose room while construction was underway.
