Plaza Center Recieves Masonry Award
Lakewood Inc. is pleased to announce the receipt of yet another award for The Plaza Center office building.
Home to a number of firms including GMB Architects-Engineers, Warner Norcross and Judd, Hilliard Lyons, West Michigan Community Bank, Velo City Cycles, and the Curraugh Pub, this facility has become an anchor to the eastern entry of 8th Street and Downtown Holland.

Completed in 2003, The Plaza Center has been the recipient of an ABC Award of Excellence for Quality Construction, an AIA Grand Valley Chapter Design Award, and now from the Masonry Institute of Michigan.
The latest award was received from the Masonry Institute of Michigan and the AIA of Michigan for the masonry design on the exterior of the building. The Plaza Center was one of 49 entries in the program and a jury from AIA Chicago, Illinois selected The Plaza Center as the winner. The masonry award program is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.
