Lakewood Announces Construction on New Manufacturing Facility for Tric Tool Ltd.
Officials from Lakewood Inc. are pleased to announce the construction of a new manufacturing facility for Tric Tool Ltd. in HEDCOR’s north side industrial park in Holland, Michigan.
The new facility for Tric Tool will be a 20,000 square foot pre engineered building on 3 acres of land in the industrial park.
Tric Tool Ltd. began operations in 1994 with 1 person and has grown to its current level of 25 employees. The company designs and builds specialized machines to automate assembly, inspection and manufacturing processes for the automotive, furniture, construction and food processing industries.
President and company founder Tom Jackson stated that the new facility will allow them to accommodate the double digit growth they have been experiencing over the past few years while allowing them to structure their own engineering, manufacturing and assembly operations in a more efficient manner. Several new business opportunities have driven Tric Tool beyond the capacity of their existing plant. The new location in HEDCOR Park provides them opportunity for future expansion and excellent access to transportation and logistics for their existing and future client base. Vice President and partner Jim Carden said they expect to add up to 5 more employees within 1 year of occupying the new facility.
