Lakewood, Inc. Celebrates Milestone at Zeeland Farm Services With "Topping Off" Ceremony
Officials from Lakewood Inc. are pleased to announce the attainment of a milestone for the construction of Zeeland Farm Service’s new headquarters.
October 24, 2005 marked the setting of the last piece of conventional red-iron for the framing for the 19,000 square foot facility. Zeeland Farm Services, Lakewood Inc. and other subcontractors celebrated the accident free progress to date with a “topping off” ceremony, marked with a speech by Project Supervisor, Jeff Van Goey.
Contractors are working feverishly to enclose the facility by the end of the year to accommodate the completion of the project.
The LEED’s certified project began in August of 2005 and is scheduled for completion in April of 2006.
