Lakewood Receives 2005 Quality Construction Awards
Frederik Meijer Gardens was the setting for the presentation of the 2005 Awards of Excellence for Quality Construction by the Associated Builders & Contractors of West Michigan. During the ceremony, on the evening of October 25th, 2005 Lakewood Inc. became the recipient of their 24th and 25th Awards for projects constructed during the past year. This years program marked the 20th Anniversary of the awards competition.
The first award received by Lakewood was for Downtown Place Condominiums in the Housing Construction, Over $5 million category. The redevelopment of an existing brownfield site brought more downtown living to the core of the City of Holland. The beautiful interior finishes excited judges who noted the finishes brought class to the building.
