Lakewood Construction Breaks Ground on West Michigan Community Bank
Officials from Lakewood Construction are pleased to announce the commencement of another project for West Michigan Community Bank in Holland, Michigan.

A new 3,490 square foot branch office is being constructed in Holland Township’s growing retail corridor on Westshore Drive. The new building will allow the bank to provide a greater level of service to their growing Holland customer base as well as giving them a high profile presence in the community.
Since their beginnings in 1976, West Michigan Community Bank has experienced steady growth, reporting $147,469,000 in deposits and loans of $131,183,000 as of 7/31/2006.
West Michigan Community Bank is headquartered in Hudsonville, Michigan and is a subsidiary bank of Fentura Financial, Inc. (FETM-OB). In addition to the existing downtown Holland office, the bank also serves the Hudsonville, Jenison and Grandville communities.
The new building will feature 5 offices to accommodate the commercial, mortgage, and personal banking needs of their clients. An internet banking station and 4 drive-thru lanes will allow flexibility in banking transitions, while the brick and culture stone exterior, coupled with a shingled roof complete with skylight will make for a pleasant experience.
Construction of the new facility will be completed in February of 2007. David Bareman of DLB architects is the architect of record for the project.
