Lakewood Construction Announces the Completion of Several Projects
Lakewood Construction is pleased to announce the completion of several projects, including the new natatorium addition at Zeeland West High School, new corporate offices for Progressive Affiliated Lumbermen, and a manufacturing addition for Gibraltar.
The state-of-the-art natatorium at Zeeland West High School is a 43,000 square foot addition to the 3 year old Zeeland West High School and features a 10 lane by 16 lane (25 yards x 33-1/3 meter) competition pool, 2 diving wells, locker rooms, stadium seating, as well as a grand entry and gathering area. The complex has received rave reviews from the swimmers, coaches, fellow competitors and the public who have used it.
The 15,000 square foot office facility for Progressive Affiliated Lumbermen in Meadowbrook Business Park in southeast Grand Rapids features exposed timber framing, decorative masonry exterior and vast expanses of glass to incorporate views of the exterior environment into the workspaces of the occupants.
The 8,000 square foot addition at Gibraltar featured a CECO pre-engineered structure tied into the existing masonry bearing building, which was re-sided to bring a uniform look to the expanded structure. The project also included office renovations to allow for an expansion of office staff and provide a more efficient workspace.
