We want every person on every jobsite to understand the importance of safety to ensure everyone returns home each night to their families--Safety First. No Excuses.
Safety isn't something we mess around with at Lakewood. We mean serious business in all aspects of personal and jobsite safety--not only for our own team members, but for all of our trades, vendors, as well as for the occupants of our jobsites.
For this very reason, we go the distance on safety training and awareness. We are proud to say that we have been recognized by ABC/WM as a Silver level recipient in their Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) since 1994.
We are also only one of four firms in West Michigan to hold a signed a formal partnership with the goal of zero worker injuries, accidents, and near misses on a construction site with MIOSHA. There is 100% participation across the board from all of the contractors and vendors actively working on the construction site of the new high school for Caledonia Community Schools. This partnership allows us a wider net in order to raise the standards of safety within in the construction industry.
Safety First. No Excuses.
